The Lower Silesian protest of the free Poles took place in Wrocław. Real crowds gathered on Wrocław’s Market Square and expressed their opposition to the illegal actions of Donald Tusk’s government. Law and Justice MEPs Anna Zalewska and Beata Kempa took part in the protest.
MEPs: Tusk takes revenge. Our freedom is being taken away from us
The Lower Silesian protest of the free Poles started with the singing of the Dąbrowski Mazurka. Then Beata Kempa spoke. As she noted, Donald Tusk’s actions are revenge.
It is a protest against lawlessness, a protest against what is happening in Poland today. It cannot be that today – so many years after 1989 – I have political prisoners. Today we all stand in solidarity with Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik, with our ministers who are oppressed today, who are in prison because they fight corruption. For fighting those who have attacked the economic foundations of our country. Tusk will execute them today. Tusk and his entire team are simply taking revenge. It can’t be like that. Let’s express this. Political prisoners must be released
– emphasized the PiS member of the European Parliament.
Freedom is taken away every day. Donald Tusk canceled his homework. This is a violation of a teacher’s dignity. (…) There is still a lot of effort and work ahead of us
– Anna Zalewska commented.
Those present sang, among other things: slogans: “The red crow will not defeat the eagle” or “There will be punishment for Bodnar”.
