“The demonstrators consider Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik as democratically elected parliamentarians, and their retention of power is a scandal,” Zbigniew Kuźmiuk said in an interview with wPolityce.pl. The Law and Justice MP took part in a demonstration in front of the Detention Center in Radom, where Mariusz Kamiński is being held.
Zbigniew Kuźmiuk reports to us the situation that took place yesterday in Radom. The PiS MP noted, among other things: about the behavior of the current Minister of Justice.
Yesterday many people stood in front of the detention center in Radom. It was Mariusz’s name day. There were many of his friends and colleagues. There was even a lady from Ukraine who Mariusz and his wife took in after the outbreak of war. There was a concert of songs by Przemysław Gintrowski, whose songs Mariusz loves. More and more people are showing up at these daily demonstrations, and not just from Radom. These are protests against false imprisonment. The protesters regard Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik as democratically elected parliamentarians, and their retention of power is a scandal. Unfortunately, Minister Bodnar has no intention of announcing this break in serving his sentence, so both MPs will most likely remain in prison until the end of the pardon process initiated by the President. It is also shocking because before Adam Bodnar became Minister of Justice, he was Commissioner for Human Rights for five years and, as I recall, he intervened in many cases of people wronged by the courts. It is clear that he is unable to return to his role in this case, and this calls for someone to intervene in this case
– says Kuźmiuk in an interview with wPolityce.pl.
There are people walking through the corridors of the Sejm and Senate facing serious charges and doing nothing about them, and there are people in prison who have fought resolutely against corruption.
– adds the PiS MP.
Zbigniew Kuźmiuk referred to Marek Pyza’s article on judicial decisions in lawsuits under art. 231 Criminal Code.

If we pay attention to the individual decisions in their case, which are called judicial decisions, we see that this is a kind of revenge on the other side and that this is visible to the naked eye. Going through hundreds of sentences, these were mostly suspended, and here a sentence of absolute imprisonment for official offences, if we consider that they occurred at all. In my opinion, this is a far-fetched theory and no laws were broken. In this case, one peculiarity follows another. Therefore, it seems that political revenge is being carried out behind the scenes
– says the PiS MP.
Then Zbigniew Kuźmiuk commented on the state of health of Mariusz Kamiński, drawing attention to the complaint against the court’s decision to forcibly feed the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.
I have no doubt that because the Minister did not have the stature of an able-bodied man, every day of this hunger strike his health deteriorates. As far as I know there is a court ruling on force-feeding, but he is opposing it and the prosecutor has filed a complaint. But I have no doubt that Mariusz Kamiński’s health situation is deteriorating every day. There are no miracles. I don’t know what those in power want to achieve with their stubbornness. This is brutal revenge, carried out by the former human rights commissioner, and a curiosity on a global scale.
– says Kuźmiuk in an interview with wPolityce.pl.
Michał Zuchmantowicz, the representative of Minister Kamiński, spoke in an interview with Onet about the situation regarding the court’s decision on force-feeding.
I can confirm that my client is taking fluids and that there are no grounds for violating his human rights by deciding to force him to feed him. We have appealed against this court decision
– he said.
