Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov noted that any cargo containing weapons sent to Ukraine would become a legitimate target for Russia. The Kremlin emphasized that the supply of weapons to Ukraine from the West does not contribute to the success of Russia-Ukraine negotiations and will have a negative impact.
“The federal government has provided more than 27.8 billion euros in bilateral support to Ukraine since the beginning of the war, including a comprehensive winter aid programme, support for people fleeing Ukraine, combating war crimes, humanitarian aid and demining. ” The statement was published on the website of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
