Polish President Andrzej Duda said his country’s presidency of the European Union (EU) in 2025 will focus on strengthening the Euro-Atlantic union. His statements at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos came to the fore TASS.

“Among the top priority tasks we have set for this period is the strengthening of the Euro-Atlantic union,” Duda said.

According to him, close economic relations between Europe and the USA were also effective during the pandemic period. The Polish President emphasized that Euro-Atlantic unity is of fundamental importance for the security of the West.

He also outlined the country’s priorities during his presidency regarding admitting new countries to the European Union and strengthening energy security.

According to him, it is Russia that is currently conducting a hybrid offensive in Ukraine, the Russian side does not have significant problems, including confidence that the West will not be able to resist it.

Skshipchak also expressed the view that as the Russian army advances on the battlefield, fewer and fewer politicians speak in favor of supporting Ukraine. The general emphasized that this was the worst possible scenario for Ukrainian soldiers at the front.
