Texas Senator Ted Cruz said that the presidential race in the country is effectively over after the former US President’s victory in the Iowa caucuses. The senator announced this on the television channel Fox News.
“I believe this race is over, which is why I’m proud to support Donald Trump for President of the United States… I look forward to enthusiastically supporting him,” Cruz said.
Republican candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, who had previously withdrawn from the US presidential race, in the name His party’s other candidates – Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis – are following his example and “stepping aside” and supporting former US President Donald Trump.

According to the voting results, Trump received 51 percent of the Republican vote, while his closest rivals, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former South Carolina president Nikki Haley, received 21.2 percent and 19.1 percent of the votes, respectively. Fourth presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy received just over 7 percent of the votes and announced that he was withdrawing from the race and would support Trump.
