Several hundred supporters of the opposition coalition “Serbia Against Violence” held the first protest in a two-week break near the Republican Electoral Commission (RIC) building in the center of the Serbian capital. This was reported by TASS.
According to the agency, protesters blocked the road on the central street of Kralja Milan. They were located between the RIC and the presidential palace. The organizers of the protest prepared a stage for the leaders of the opposition movement to address themselves.
Supporters of the opposition bloc “Serbia against violence”, which opposes the results of the elections held on December 17 in the country, organize protests almost every day to revise the voting results. On 25 December, protesters tried to attack the Belgrade City Hall, and on 29 December, blocked street in the city centre.
REC, following complaints about the conduct of the elections on December 17, re-voting for the parliamentary elections in Serbia was planned for December 30 in 35 polling stations (there are about 8.3 thousand polling stations in total in the country).
