An evening protest against the imprisonment of Mariusz Kamiński took place in front of the detention center in Radom! “My husband is a hero, whether you like it or not,” the former minister’s wife told Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Barbara Kamińska emphasized that she would defend her husband “to the last drop of blood”!
This is the third day of a demonstration in front of the Radom Detention Center in defense of former CBA heads Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik, imprisoned in the detention center in Przytuły Stare (Mazovia Voivodeship).

During Saturday’s demonstration in front of the Radom prison, the dominant slogans were: “Free Mariusz”, “We will win” and “We are with you”.
Intentional separation
The protest was attended by, among others, Mariusz Kamiński’s wife, Barbara Kamińska.
After all, today’s authorities did it on purpose, they separated Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik so that we could not gather in one place, to divide us into smaller groups, to show that we really cannot do anything and there are just some of us. But that is not true. There are many of us and even though they are separated, when I look at the countries I have no doubt that we can handle them.
– she said.
When Tusk first came to power, after purging the institutions, Mariusz Kamiński remained in office. It seemed that he would be the head of the CBA until the end of his term. After the gambling scandal was discovered and Mariusz Kamiński, my husband, Donald Tusk, the then Prime Minister, informed about it, a little later, in violation of the law, he was dismissed from his position just like today. He canceled it and people watched and did nothing! My husband was fired against the law in broad daylight!
– Kamińska remembered.
“I’m not afraid of you!”
Politicians from the December 13 coalition say this: “the fuel will burn out quickly.” They hope that the matter will calm down and that they will solve it somehow, but in the meantime another institution is going bankrupt
– said Mariusz Kamiński’s wife.
My husband is a hero, like it or not
– said Kamińska.
She also added that she would defend her husband “to the last drop of blood.”
I’m not afraid of you!
– said Mariusz Kamiński’s wife.
“They are doing this to intimidate all of us.”
The former minister’s son Kacper Kamiński also spoke.
Thank you very much for coming here in such large numbers. This encourages the father and he is happy that so many of us are coming
– he said, recalling that it was a fight against “injustice and lawlessness”.
Why is this an issue? Donald Tusk used this case to fire my father as head of the CBA. It is also revenge and judicial revenge for my father’s fight against corruption and for detaining Donald Tusk’s colleagues and his close associates: Nowak, Gawłowski, Karpiński, the list is very long
– noted Kacper Kamiński.
Why are they doing this? They do this to intimidate us all. The most honest people among us have been arrested and they want to intimidate us, but we are not afraid and we will fight. We will win this battle! We will win!
– said the son of the MP.
“He fought against communism and then against corruption.
Among the participants of the demonstration were also colleagues of the former head of the CBA, as well as local government officials and PiS politicians, including: Marek Suski, Stanisław Karczewski, Zbigniew Kuźmiuk and Radosław Fogiel.
Mariusz Kamiński is a man who has been fighting the plagues that plague our country for years – first with communism, then with corruption, and was prosecuted for both.
– said Fogiel. He added that this is also happening in this case.
Legal chairman of TVP in Radom
TVP Legal President Michał Adamczyk also spoke at the protest, emphasizing that “we are witnessing the rule of law and all legal rules are being flouted,” and that “these norms introduced by the ruling majority are in reality no different from what is happening in Belarus”.
Under normal circumstances, this statement would be broadcast live by all channels
– he said.
If you can, come every day. Because they hope that this voice becomes weaker every day. And if you have enough strength and determination – and I sincerely believe that – it will never go away
– emphasized the legal head of public television.
The protest in front of Radom prison lasted about an hour. Those present announced that demonstrations would also take place in the coming days.
