Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the United States’ refusal to give money would impoverish retirees and other vulnerable social groups in Ukraine. This was reported by RIA News.

Thus, Zelensky responded to the comments of Miami Governor, US presidential candidate Ron DeSantis and other Republican politicians criticizing the provision of military aid and financing to Ukraine.

“They and others like him refused to help our military with salaries and said that this was a matter that concerned only Ukraine. Then tell them that we cannot provide aid to the army, because we are a NATO country and cannot support the war…” Zelensky is furious.

He said Desantis was young and did not understand what it meant to provide for retirees during intense fighting.

Previously Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis statedHe said the United States would “never send American troops to fight in Ukraine.”

Former US presidential candidate statedBiden fails to explain the purpose of supporting Ukraine.
