Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda said that Ukraine will become a member of the North Atlantic Alliance, but a date for admission is still being determined. This was reported by TASS.
According to him, Ukraine’s membership in the alliance is out of the question, but there is a question of when the country will be accepted into NATO.
Nausėda emphasized that doubts on this issue were eliminated after the alliance summit in Vilnius in July 2023. Later, important decisions were taken towards greater rapprochement between Ukraine and the North Atlantic Alliance.
The Lithuanian President added that Vilnius will continue to support Ukraine on its path to NATO.
