President of the National Bank of Poland Prof. Adam Glapiński became the Person of Freedom 2023 of the “Sieci” Weekly. The laudation in honor of the laureate was delivered by Michał Karnowski.

The beginning of the struggle for independence and the existence of the Polish national currency, the struggle for economic sovereignty created by the central bank. For the rule of law, for compliance with the principles of the Constitution and the fundamental order of the state.
