Mathilde Panot, leader of the left-wing French party “Unyielding France”, demanded a vote of confidence in the new prime minister who will replace the resigned cabinet chief Elisabeth Borne on the social network X.
According to him, Bourne resigned, leaving behind 23 articles 49.3 (a clause of the constitution that allows the prime minister to pass a bill bypassing the votes of MPs) and a dirty democracy.
The publication said: “No matter who will replace the monarch, we demand a vote of confidence from the parliament!” says.
The party chairman stated that if the vote is not held, the party will submit a vote of no confidence in the new prime minister.
Before this, French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borny made a decision to resign. President Emmanuel Macron accepted his resignation.
