A member of the Bundestag reveals information that discredits the German arms industry and defense policy. The Leopard 2 tanks delivered to Ukraine after much deliberation and heavy sighs are largely destroyed or broken, and the Germans are unable to repair them.
“Right Popular Front”; “A partner for the AfD”. Germany will gain another anti-system party. It was founded by the former head of the counterintelligence service
Scholz visited the flood-affected areas. He was called by the residents: “Criminal”
Serious costs due to reliance on wind turbines and solar photovoltaics. Germany needs to build about fifty gas-fired power stations. They are short 60 billion euros
As usual, Germany is at the forefront of propaganda. They should offer Ukraine the biggest help among European countries, but it turns out that these are only promises on paper and in front of cameras, nonsense and grotesque actions – like monitoring the Romanian media for pro-Russian content, or something like that. has not arrived, or is broken and not working. This is the case with 18 Leopard 2 tanks, which the cowardly Scholz government transferred to Ukraine in March 2023, after major dilemmas in the hamlets. As MP Sebastian Schäfer of the Budget Committee and the parliamentary committee overseeing the supposed reconstruction of the German armed forces reveals, most of them are unusable – some are broken, some are broken.
The fact that equipment is destroyed during war is not surprising. Also the fact that it is worn out. It is even worse when it turns out that the damage can be removed and the tanks can be fought again, but this is not possible due to the lack of parts. The same applies when this wear is too rapid. And this is the case with the German Leopard 2.
As we said, Germans are the best at propaganda. Their Leopard tanks were considered among the best in the world and could compete with the American Abrams and British Chalenger 2 tanks until they were tested in combat, i.e. in the war against ISIS in Syria, where they were equipped with the Turkish army. It turned out that they were broken down much more often by ISIS terrorists than other equipment. Crushed like Meissen crockery.
The situation is repeating itself in Ukraine. While Merkel’s government refused to supply Turkey, its NATO ally, with newer equipment or repair the damaged equipment on human and ideological grounds, there is now simply a shortage of parts. Almost six years have passed since the fighting in Syria, and the Bundeswehr and the armaments sector, despite the war in Ukraine and the proud announcements of the reconstruction of the armed forces, appear to be in a state of greater disrepair than in 2018.
Some tanks are broken and worn out and the Germans can no longer revive them, precisely because of the lack of spare parts. Leopards are being repaired “homemade” by Ukrainians and are therefore likely to deteriorate even further. In some cases, the Ukrainians used tanks differently than Western military officials expected.
But regardless of whether they were used incorrectly or poorly, the Ukrainians fixed them with an improvised solution it is shameful that the most powerful economy in Europe, the manufacturer of these tanks, has no spare parts for 18!!! pieces.
Either there isn’t one, or the Germans are cheating and don’t really want to fix these tanks. The case of these 18 leopards, and they promised more than 100, has a symbolic dimension, which alone exceeds the importance of such equipment in the war with Russia.
Maybe Germany is unable to produce parts for 18 tanks, or maybe they are pretending to help Ukraine. In this regard, at least, Brigadier General Erich Vad, Merkel’s former chief military adviser, appears to be sincere. This officer, who has been discredited many times – publicly said in February 2022 that Ukraine would fall in a few days, and that defending Kiev was pointless and only symbolic. He directly said that Ukraine should not be helped and that equipment should not be given to the population. It.
Sharpen
In October, the Brussels Eurointelligence Institute wrote that Olaf Scholz is playing a double game towards Ukraine and does not actually want Russia to lose the war. One manifestation of this is the continued refusal to transfer cruise missiles to Ukraine, even though Britain and France do so. Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, Foreign Affairs Annalena Baerbock and Finance Christian Lindner promised to deliver the Tauruses by the autumn at the latest. However, the deliveries are blocked by Scholz. The chancellor fears that the Ukrainians could use them to hit targets in Russia and even destroy the Kerch Bridge, which would anger Putin. And this is bad, because you need to start doing business with him again as soon as possible. British historian Timothy Garton Ash coined a new term after the name of the German Chancellor: slander, that is, preaching good intentions to everyone and then finding an excuse to prevent what is alleged from happening.
Germany with a crooked face
Another manifestation of the fraud of German policy is the obligations of the allies – to NATO. Merkel’s government has never adhered to this and has not allocated the required 2% of GDP to build up defense forces. Germany, one of the richest countries in the world, relied on American security guarantees. Berlin thought he had a free bodyguard. He behaved like someone who drinks heavily at a social gathering, without contributing anything.
With the money saved, Germany generously financed social services, bought social peace and built the myth of a welfare state. The consequence of this selfish, short-sighted policy is the disarmament of the German army. Perhaps Rheinmetall indeed cannot produce parts for 18 tanks because it does not have the money. Ursula von der Leyen – the most inept and discredited minister in Merkel’s government responsible for defense, led the Bundeswehr and the arms industry to the brink of disaster. As a “reward” she was sent to Brussels to lead the Union to disaster with her weapons.
Today, Ukraine, but also Poland and the Baltic states, are paying a huge price for this. Ukraine because the weapons it could receive do not exist. Poland and the Baltic states are doing what they can, but they must also moderate their involvement because they know that Europe is virtually defenseless.
Scholz’s boring government has learned nothing, understood nothing. After the outbreak of war, the Chancellor announced in a pompous speech in the Bundestag a major turn in German policy: the Zeintenwende and the allocation of another 100 billion euros to rebuild German military capabilities. Regardless of this fund, Defense Minister Pistorius demands that the defense budget be increased by 10 billion euros annually. None of that. Germany still plans to deceive its NATO allies and this summer backed away from its pledge to spend 2% of GDP on defense. Maybe in 5 years they will. Another worthless promise, deception. The feeling of security in Central and Eastern Europe is nothing for Berlin. Germany now has other priorities. They have to save their industry.
This shows how hypocritical, extremely stupid and harmful is the project to change the EU treaties and implement a common foreign and defense policy, which is what the rulers of the EU and the countries to which it is subordinate want. Poland would entrust its security to Berlin, which cannot send spare parts for 18 tanks. However, he has an idea to introduce joint arms purchases.
After the outbreak of war, Josep Borell, High Representative of Europe’s Stronger Position in the World, began calling for this (this grotesque, pompous title means you are dealing with EU diplomacy). This doll does and says what they think and what they tell her to do. Europe has a shortage of weapons and ammunition and he says it is probably Ukraine’s fault for being sent there. The best solution is therefore joint purchasing and purchasing in the EU. The point is that Germany needs them.
The culmination of what the Spanish Eurocrat announced over a year ago are now the changes being made to the treaties. For example, German Deputy Foreign Minister Anna Luehrmann and French Deputy Minister Laurence Boone are working on the abolition of the unanimity principle in foreign and security policy.
The Union will establish a Defense Union with civilian and military capabilities to implement the common security and defense policy. This also applies to permanently stationed joint European military units.
This is a proposal for a new provision of art. 43 TEU on security policy.
It means that the European Council and the European Parliament can vote for the creation of a European army without our consent, and we will have to add our contingent to it. The army will be commanded by Brussels and equipped by the European Defense Agency, as stated in subsequent changes to the EU treaties. A special budget is created for this. Of course, from new taxes.
Let us imagine that we entrust our security to the mighty powers of Europe: Germany, France, Spain, Italy. A common defense policy in a situation where the largest EU country cannot repair eighteen tanks because there are no parts for them. These delusions also expose the misery of opportunists who agree to such treaty changes.
However, let us assume that Germany’s or the entire EU’s policy in this area somehow changes, then one fundamental issue remains: the economic policy, or rather the madness of climateism, that is bringing Europe to the brink brought about a recession and caused production to collapse. This madness means that energy prices in the EU are now terrible and what needs a lot of them, i.e. industry, is in a state of collapse, or is being moved from the continent to China or the United States, etc.
What was Germany’s driving force – manufacturing – is now disappearing. In six years it has decreased by 12%. Sales of what was once the world’s largest automaker, Volkswagen, fell 12.3% in 2023. The auto giant plans to lay off 20% of its workforce, or 550,000. people. Germany is facing a structural, deep economic crisis. And it is not that everything in the automotive industry or wind turbine production will collapse (in the case of Siemens, construction machinery, etc.), but in the weapons industry everything will be fine.
This branch cannot be replaced, repaired or stimulated by interpersonal coaching, gender competencies or LGBTWC activism. Here we need welders, grinders, electricians, etc., and there is a dire shortage of these in Germany and France, as well as raw materials and a lot of electricity. It is well known that Germany is desperate for people to work, hence this insane immigration policy.
Be that as it may, the point is that no matter what fraud and nonsense Berlin’s policies are worth, Germany may not be able to supply Ukraine with weapons, even those eighteen tanks, in a reasonable time and at a reasonable cost. That is why the case of 18 sad leopards is a symbol, that is why this apparently small case shows the misery of German, but also EU policy and the state in which Brussels and Berlin find themselves at their own request.
