Safari expressed the opinion that a single currency will be created for settlements in BRICS in the future, and before that, countries will carry out transactions in their national currencies. At the same time, both BRICS and SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organization) should follow the path of de-dollarization.
As one of the ways to implement this idea in the future, Safari called for the creation of NDB (New BRICS Development Bank) of a fund of different currencies, from which a single currency would be adopted. On this basis, participating countries will have the opportunity to receive bank loans and conduct commercial transactions.
