Russian State Duma deputy Mikhail Sheremet said that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s New Year’s speech, in which he said “it is all ours” to the people living in Crimea and new regions of Russia, was “disgusting fabrications”. The MP mentioned this in an interview RIA News.
In his New Year’s speech, the Ukrainian leader mentioned Crimea, Donbass, Luhansk region, Berdyansk, Melitopol and Mariupol and defined them as “all ours”.
Sheremet, on the other hand, described Zelensky’s statement as “an ordinary fiction, temporary and sick fabrications”. The deputy emphasized that Crimea, as well as the Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, have always been historical regions of Russia. Sheremet noted that Russian people have always lived in these lands, and that “Ukrainian Nazism and its carriers” are foreign and full of hatred.
