“The harsh words from the president’s speech would have sounded much stronger and more credible if we had heard similar words from the previous government,” Deputy Marshal Krzysztof Bosak said on website X, blurring the picture of the situation. Typical of the Confederacy?
The President’s Powerful Message!
On Sunday evening, TVP and Telewizja Republika broadcast the New Year’s speech of the President of the Republic of Poland. Andrzej Duda said, among other things, that “for the first time in free Poland after 1989, an attempt was made to take over the public media by force, the television signal of some channels was switched off and news programs stopped broadcasting. Finally, the Polish television, Polish radio and Polish news agency declared bankrupt.
I would like to say this clearly: those in power can reform public media, but it must be done in accordance with the law. I have always been open to such discussions about legal changes. However, from my side there will never be permission to violate the Constitution. And this is the situation we are currently facing
– said the president.
I call on the governing coalition to observe the principles of a democratic constitutional state and to respect citizens, regardless of their political views. These should be your political New Year’s resolutions! We must say this clearly: legal chaos and internal conflict in Poland lead to the weakening of our state and, consequently, to the weakening of our security. We have faced a situation like this before. I remember it perfectly because I was a minister in the Chancellery of President Lech Kaczyński when Donald Tusk was previously the head of the government
– he said.

Barefoot like a symmetry expert
The president’s speech received widespread commentary from both representatives of the December 13 coalition (including Donald Tusk himself) and politicians from the United Right. Krzysztof Bosak also presented his opinion on the head of state’s speech.
The harsh words of the President’s speech would have sounded much stronger and more credible if we had heard similar words from the previous administration, when it flouted the norms of the rule of law and common decency in the usurped public media.
– said the Deputy Chairman of the Sejm on website X.
It therefore appears that the Confederation is still responding to the ‘symmetrists’ who cloud the picture of the political situation. Not to mention the unlawful and unprecedented attack on public media that is currently taking place! Have the representatives of the Confederacy learned nothing?
