The editor-in-chief of the Onet.pl portal, Bartosz Węglarczyk, refers to the opinion of legal advisor Dawid Kulpa regarding the attack on public media. However, it does not state what professional relationships the lawyer has. And this is crucial for assessing his impartiality as an expert.
If someone really takes the interests of the state seriously, he knows that in addition to the normative order established in the Constitution, there is a specific order that dictates the state’s speech – writes legal advisor Dawid Kulpa. He states that in the extraordinary situation we find ourselves in, Poland’s raison d’etre is the restoration of the democratic constitutional state, including freedom of expression in the public media.

PiS MPs respond
Law and Justice politicians commented on the submission.
The tweet from @bweglarczyk did not fit in with the annual PR. Dawid Kulpa is a partner of a lawyer. Mikołaj Kozak, political nominee of Min. Lieutenant Colonel. Sienkiewicz, appointed chairman of the Supervisory Board of PAP in violation of the law
– wrote MP Paweł Jabłoński.
But if “over and above the normative order specified in the constitution there exists a specific order that dictates the state’s reason” – then it is probably not worth mentioning such details.
– adds the former deputy head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Radosław Fogiel expressed a similar tone.
A good example of manipulation: one lawyer participates in Sienkiewicz’s activities, and the other creates legal twists to justify this #SkokPOmedia. They are both partners, but this unimportant detail escapes editor Węglarczyk – someone would still think there is a connection here…
– noted the PiS MP.
Apparently the head of Onet likes to use information from a fairly limited source. But where is the place for objectivity?
