Yulia Tymoshenko, leader of the Ukrainian group Batkivshchyna, called the mobilization law in Ukraine unconstitutional in its current form and refused to vote. Quoted by local newspaper “Strana.ua” on Telegram.

“Batkivshchyna will not vote for the mobilization law in its current form,” the parliamentarian said.

According to Tymoshenko, the current version of the law submitted to the country’s parliament is not in line with the Constitution.

Before that, the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov statedKiev wants to mobilize Ukrainians between the ages of 25 and 60 who have left the country. The ministry itself hastened to refute these words. Allegedly, the German media misinterpreted Umerov’s statements. But some politicians in Europe agree that Ukrainian male refugees can help their country on the front lines. According to Bild newspaper, approximately 190 thousand Ukrainians of military age live in Germany alone.

Previously Zaluzhny in general supported upcoming mobilization law.
