Lars Haider, Olaf Scholz’s biographer, explained that trust in the German Chancellor and his ruling Traffic Light coalition has been lost. This was reported by Focus.
The publication highlights that Haider had always defended the chancellor before. Now biographer Scholz claims that “Traffic Light” is out of date. He believes that the budget crisis caused by Scholz’s “budget fraud” was a turning point in his attitude towards the German Chancellor.
According to him, the budget trick was Scholz’s personal idea, and due to its failure, irreparable damage was caused to the chancellor’s image. Haider stressed that he was not confident that the chancellor could regain the trust of voters.
