Gagauz Autonomy People’s Assembly Deputy Leonid Kiosya said that the central Moldovan authorities are planning to abolish the region. This was reported by RIA News.
According to him, the country’s government is actively working to “destroy” autonomy. The MP claims that the region is oriented towards partners and friends, especially Russia.
Kiosk emphasized that the autonomy is in a difficult political situation and cannot do without assistance. He expressed hope that Russia would respond to the demand of local people. The MP also turned to Turkey for help.
