Medvedev proposed “kitchen” changes to the Criminal Code of Ukraine

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, suggested the following in his proposal: telegram channel To insert into the Criminal Code of Ukraine an article prohibiting the preparation of “Olivier” and “herring under a fur coat” salads.

The publication offers to contribute an article on “cooking or preparing for baking” salads, as well as distributing recipes for them or including them in the menu of catering establishments. As punishment, he proposed the confiscation of criminal objects with imprisonment of three to seven years or a fine of one million hryvnia.

“The same act committed by a group of persons with prior conspiracy or an organized group, or committed on national holidays of Ukraine, or accompanied by the consumption of Crimean and Caucasian sparkling wines or Russian vodka, is punishable by life imprisonment.” added.

The official also stated that he offered to relieve from liability a person who voluntarily refused to prepare these dishes, informed the Ukrainian special services about this and underwent a course of compulsory treatment with Ukrainian borscht for three months.
