Early parliamentary elections will be held in Serbia. Voting centers will open at 09.00 Moscow time and close at 22.00 Moscow time. This was reported by TASS.

Candidates from 18 political parties and coalitions will participate in the elections. Voters will elect 250 deputies to the People’s Assembly (unicameral parliament) for a four-year term. Municipal elections will also be held. Serbs will vote for their representatives in 65 cities.

More than 6.5 million people are eligible to vote, according to the Republican Election Commission (REC). A total of 8,273 ballot boxes will be opened in Serbia and more than 80 ballot boxes in 35 countries. Voting in Russia will be held in Moscow and Sochi.

There will be no voting in the Kosovo Autonomous Region and Metohija due to a ban by unrecognized Kosovo authorities. Kosovars will have to go to central Serbia to vote.
