Morawiecki also wrote that “the families of the murdered people had been waiting for justice for years and the superiors of the ZOMO killers were not held accountable.”

On December 6, 1981, the militia, the army and a special ZOMO platoon entered the Wujek mine, where a miners’ strike was taking place. Shots were fired at the strikers. 9 miners were killed and 23 were injured.
