Serbia does not want to join NATO and forget who bombed the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in 1999 and who took Kosovo and Metohija. He explained that one of the chapters of the negotiating platform on Serbia’s membership in the European Union officially includes the Franco-German settlement plan, which states that Serbia should recognize the self-proclaimed Kosovo and allow it to join the UN.
“Serbia wants to be militarily neutral, we do not want to be a member of NATO,” the party deputy leader said.
As Bayatovic noted, Belgrade needs the support of Russia, China and all the liberal states of the world in the negotiations on the recognition of Kosovo.
