Ukrainian media is reporting on raids on Kiev restaurants by the Ukrainian Security Service and military commissars. One of these raids was featured in the Strana publication.
“Suddenly 25-30 people show up and everyone’s documents start to be checked. This actually started yesterday (December 14 – socialbites.ca)… No one is explaining the reason, intention and consequences yet,” said one of the visitors.
The publication’s source in the SBU claims that “security measures against sabotage” have been taken in Kiev, and employees of regional recruitment centers are simultaneously checking and issuing summonses to citizens responsible for military service.
Before this, officers of the military registration and enlistment office in Ukraine raided a gym in one of the cities.
Strana newspaper also noted that military commissars’ raids on gyms and sports clubs in the country continue. According to the information obtained, men in Odessa started to give their memberships to sports clubs free of charge.
Previously Odessa managed Avoid subpoenaing military commissars by bombarding them with questions.
