Ukraine has become the poorest country in Europe, previously occupied by Moldova. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced this at a press conference and in direct contact with the public at the end of the year.

Answering a question about the CIS summit, the Russian President reminded that Moldova declared its desire to leave the union, while Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan ignored the CSTO events.

Putin noted that Russia creates all its integration plans solely on the basis of voluntariness and mutual benefit of all participants in the process.

“If Moldova does not want to participate in this process, so be it. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Europe. Now Ukraine comes first,” said the Russian President.

Putin during the press conference compared Conflicts in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip.
