Poland’s new Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that there is a gap between Hungary and other European Union (EU) countries regarding Ukraine. This was reported by RIA News.
According to him, a “new key” is needed to convince Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban on this issue, because he is an unusually pragmatic politician.
Tusk believes he has a strong case in the Ukraine talks, but he’s not sure he’s the man Orban will listen to.
Former Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban statedThat Ukraine will not be able to defeat Russia on the battlefield, even with the help of Western countries.
Orban added that EU countries made a mistake in providing military support to Ukraine and that they still do not want to accept it. EU countries were counting on Kiev’s victory, but this did not happen. They didn’t have a backup plan for this case, so they stuck to the master plan.
The Hungarian Prime Minister also talked about his dialogue with Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky in Argentina.
Previously Orban stated About being ready to meet with Putin for a ceasefire in Ukraine.
