Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak will visit China from 12 to 16 December. This was reported by TASS Based on the relevant order of the Council of Ministers.
The document states that Novak will head the Russian delegation that will attend the 20th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on energy cooperation between Russia and China. It was announced that the formation of the delegation will be personally approved by the Deputy Prime Minister and the trip expenses will be covered from the federal budget.
The previous meeting of the commission was held via video conference in November. Following the results, Novak said that the PRC and the Russian Federation are continuing the transition to paying for energy supplies in national currencies.
