In Monday’s vote, the Sejm did not grant a vote of confidence to the government of Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. 190 MPs voted in favor of the vote, 266 were against and no one abstained.

“So there were 187 supporters: PiS and 3 Kukiz’15 MPs. The other clubs voted unanimously against: KO, Polska 2050, PSL, Lewica and Konfederacja. Three members of the PiS club did not participate in the vote. They were Szymon Szynkowski alias Sęk, Agnieszka Ścigaj and Zbigniew Ziobro.
This vote results in the Sejm taking over the initiative for the election of the Prime Minister and the government.
