“I am ready to answer any question. I have nothing to hide,” said former Minister of State Assets Jacek Sasin on RMF FM, commenting on the announcement of the new parliamentary majority establishing a parliamentary investigative committee for correspondence elections.
Former Deputy Prime Minister in the government of Mateusz Morawiecki expressed his deep conviction that the politicians of his party, as well as himself, are ready to confront the accusations about the post-elections with reality. This is intended to reinforce the vote in favor of the appointment of an investigative committee.
There are so many untruths surrounding this subject that the committee may be a good forum to refute these untruths.
– Jacek Sasin announced at RMF.
Commissions of Inquiry
He assured that all threats from the parliamentary majority to “investigate the PiS regime” are misplaced, because the United Right has nothing to blame itself and is not afraid of such announcements. Sasin even stated that the whole thing is some kind of hoax and that “we are dealing with a story that has little to do with reality.”
He noted that the main driving force behind the actions of the new parliamentary majority is to take revenge for eight years of rule by the United Right.
I heard Mr Gramatyka say that there will definitely be a paragraph about Sasina. These are good Stalinist models, when they said: give me a person and I will find a paragraph
– well-known former Deputy Prime Minister Jacek Sasin.
The former head of the Ministry of State Assets noted on RMF FM that all doubts about the postal elections had already been cleared up by the court, and that the Supreme Court of Audit, headed by Marian Banaś, who is hostile to the party of Jarosław Kaczyński, will investigate the case has investigated. .
President Banaś tried to force charges, he made these accusations and sent them to the prosecutor’s office. The Public Prosecution Service has dismissed this case twice. An independent court, headed by a judge with completely different sympathies than Law and Justice, confirmed the correctness of this stoppage. Legally, the case is closed
– noted Sasin.
He also noted that while his group expected five representatives on the investigative committee, four were also acceptable.

In the context of the proposal of the majority behind Donald Tusk for an investigative commission that would investigate the use of the Pegasus system by the Polish services, Sasin responded that “if they were to detect crimes with the means at their disposal, including Pegasus, and has followed all procedures provided for by law”, then it is difficult to accuse anyone on this point.
If it is proven that Pegasus has been used somewhere without this procedure, without permission from the judge, then the opposition will actually say that something is wrong. But so far I have never heard of such a case and I don’t think such a case has occurred at all
– Sasin emphasized.
Support for the government
The United Right parliamentarian could not say whether the government of Mateusz Morawiecki, appointed by President Andrzej Duda, will receive a vote of confidence in the Sejm the day after tomorrow.
I always say that I would not like to act as a fortune teller or fortune teller. It’s hard to be optimistic before Monday
– said Jacek Sasin.
You must always fight to the end and try to build this majority. This is our promise to the voters
– added.
The politician mysteriously commented on the possibility of winning representatives of the new parliamentary majority to the Morawiecki government. However, he emphasized that he hoped that the ideologically closest party to PSL could, for the national interest, support Mateusz Morawiecki’s cabinet.
I don’t want to get into this kind of speculation. Politics is full of surprises. The Third Way is closest to us, and within the Third Way: the Polish People’s Party. We are closest to each other in terms of worldview. An agreement would be good for Poland
– he justified.
Tusk and KPO
Sasin responded with doubt to Robert Mazurek’s question whether obtaining money from the National Reconstruction Plan was Donald Tusk’s first measurable success.
I would not call it a success, because we had no doubt that this money would flow to Poland after the parliamentary elections, regardless of who won.
– he explained.
He also added that problems with the payment of money from the Fund so far are related to the political motivation of EU elites in Brussels, rather than real problems of a formal nature.
If Law and Justice were to win and govern effectively, this money would also come to Poland, because blocking it previously was only caused by a political game on the part of the European institutions, designed to support the opposition. This just proves to me that these decisions are made so quickly these days. After all, nothing has changed. Nothing has changed in the legal system, all the pseudo-reasons we have heard about for blocking these funds have not been removed
– said the PiS politician.
PiS action?
In the context of the Law and Justice election results, Jacek Sasin spoke bitterly about the fact that the opposition does not allow PiS to remain in power, even though Jarosław Kaczyński’s party achieved the best result among all committees that participated in the October elections . The politician believes that this is not the best proof of the maturity of Polish democracy.
In normal conditions of a stable democracy, not as unstable as in Poland, where the democratic mechanism works in such a way that the party that wins the elections is stigmatized by its political opponents as the one that has no right to govern, i.e. has no right to consume its electoral victories, because PiS is constantly being filled by our competitors in this role, we would probably govern. Because it is normal that the party that wins the elections looks for coalition partners
– said Sasin.
According to him, Law and Justice is surrounded by a ‘cordon sanitary’ of other groups, aimed at guaranteeing that representatives of the PiS community cannot fully participate in Polish public life under normal democratic procedures.
PiS is excluded by our competitors from democratic procedures that normally apply in every country. In Poland it is accepted that Law and Justice is a party that has no right to govern
– added.
The parliamentarian assured on RMF FM that Law and Justice will not change its policies and ideological contours, and the only thing that can undergo any revision is the approach to voters, the form of communication with them and a change in language use.
He added that Jarosław Kaczyński should not resign as PiS president and withdraw from politics. According to him, the group’s leader is the most important and fundamental cornerstone of Poland’s center-right environment.
