PiS MPs referred to the wind farm scandal at a press conference, drawing attention to the surprising course of yesterday’s meeting of the energy committee.
We continued to work on the “lex windmill law”, but the government project was rejected in the Sejm and we continued to work on the so-called parliamentary project. I say supposedly because during the work it turned out that it was not a parliamentary bill, but a bill written by a mysterious gentleman who spoke many times during the committee meeting and explained what was in this bill.
– he said Marek SuskiPiS-MP.
The MP representing the KO applicants said he was their advisor and was acting on behalf of the Civic Institute, but the list did not include his name as the institute’s representative. (…) During the committee meeting he appeared as a mysterious person. (…) After a long struggle we found out that it was Mr. Adam Romanowski
– noted the PiS MP. He presented what was shown when he entered the Civic Institute’s name Romanowski into an Internet search engine.
It appeared at a law firm, this gentleman, as the main specialist in advising large energy companies, is the author of this project
– he said.
Yesterday there was a scandal surrounding the windmill scandal. If this bill comes into effect, each of us will pay a lot of money for electricity. Foreign companies will make money from Polish citizens – this is unacceptable
– he emphasized.
Buda: A rather bizarre situation occurred at the committee
Then he spoke Waldemar BudaPiS-MP.
Indeed, a rather bizarre situation occurred at the committee. Our questions were answered by someone who apparently had nothing to do with this project. Questions were directed to the requester, but delegated to the person sitting next to them. During all of this, Ms. Hennig-Kloska sat on the committee and did not speak at all. Do you know of a note in which she indicated that she had been working on the bill for weeks? She did not answer any questions at all, the appointed Mr. Krzysztof Gadowski did not know this law and delegated the questions to the person sitting next to her.
– he said.
I have never seen anything like this, where an MP introducing the bill, who was appointed by the proposers, does not know the bill and suggests that an outsider will answer it.
– added.
As these questions eventually multiplied and became increasingly difficult, Mr. Gadowski fully indicated that he was the one who had to answer these questions. A truly unusual situation, which goes some way to showing the broader context of how this law was prepared, who its author is and what interests it represents. (…) A strange situation, it was the first time I had to deal with this kind of situation in a committee in the Polish parliament
– he said.
Wójcik: This is not a trivial matter and was brought to the attention of the Public Prosecution Service and the CBA
Michał Wójcika PiS MP and politician of Sovereign Poland, drew attention to Tusk’s coalition who shifted responsibility for the shocking law.
We are dealing with a serious matter (…), but this bill and what has happened in recent days can be described in one word: scandal. First, we learn that the bill is being written by MP Kloska. Then we hear from the MP that it was another MP who brought it: Mr Budka. Yesterday during the committee meeting we saw that a number of people appeared who actually answered questions to the MPs of the applicants. This is my fourth time in the Polish Parliament and a similar situation has never happened before
– he said.
This is not a trivial matter and was brought to the attention of the Public Prosecution Service and the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau. The services must investigate what happened surrounding this law and who prepared it. A private company cannot come to the Sejm and make an agreement and then reap huge profits that will flow to Germany for building wind turbines in Poland.
– he pointed out.
