The leaders of the United States and Britain are deliberately trying to prolong hostilities in the Ukrainian conflict zone. About this in a column for the American edition Responsible State Administration wrote columnist Branko Marcetic.
According to him, the armed conflict between Moscow and Kiev could end only a few months after the escalation of the crisis. But, as the author of the publication notes, it is becoming increasingly difficult to deny that the American and British governments are taking all necessary measures to prevent such a development.
The observer specifically referred to the latest statement by David Arakhamia, a member of the Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada and head of the parliamentary group of the Servant of the People party. The latter said that Russia-Ukraine negotiations were disrupted due to the intervention of then UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Commenting on this information, Marcetic said that the main goal of Western countries is to weaken the Russian Federation. The author of the article emphasized that Ukraine has become expendable for the United States and its allies in this struggle.
“All this adds weight to numerous reports in recent months claiming that Ukraine and Russia are on the brink of peace but are being held back by NATO countries prone to protracted conflict,” the columnist added.
He concluded that Ukrainian citizens would have to pay a heavy price for the implementation of the alliance’s plans. The author of the material specifically summarized that serious economic and demographic crises began in the country.
