Tobiasz Bocheński broke the case of the so-called windmill scandal. The Mazovian Voivode remembered, among other things: his conversation with the former German ambassador to Poland. In his post on social media, he noted, among other things: the need to reveal the names of the real creators of controversial provisions regarding the construction of wind turbines in Poland.
Bocheński states that the former German ambassador talked about wind farms in the first conversation with him.
Of course we are dealing with a windmill scandal! Do you know what topic my first conversation with German Ambassador Arndt Freytag von Loringhoven started with? From the information that the German industry wants to sell wind farms to Poland. His first words and the first real KO/Pl2050 project. What a coincidence
– we are reading.
The Mazovian Voivode calls for the names of the creators of the project promoted by the Civic Coalition and Poland 2050 to be revealed.
Firstly, an attempt is made to change the Polish wind energy market and spatial development directions with a parliamentary submission written by unknown authors. These are extremely important issues that cannot be dealt with secretly and hastily. Anyone who has participated in legislative work knows that such a project requires lawyers and experts. The names of the real fathers of the project should be revealed as KO and Pl2050 claim to be transparent and at the same time did not write the act. Otherwise, we can safely assume that the project was created by lobbyists who want to make money from all of us
– writes Bocheński.
Important investments
He then draws attention to important investments that Poland is already making.
Secondly, the untruth in the statements of KO/Pl2050 politicians is terrifying. They happily and carefully focus on ecology, because they know that we all want to live in a clean environment. At the same time, they do not say who will really benefit from the change in law. Orlen is building Poland’s largest wind farm on the Baltic Sea. At the same time, KO politicians through their announcements indirectly lead to a drop in Orlen’s share price by PLN 5.5 billion. If they were concerned about wind energy, they would announce the expansion of wind investments by Orlen and PGE. This doesn’t happen. Hence the falsity of their stated intentions
– we are reading.
Third, KO/Pl2050 politicians declare that they are committed to providing Poland with cheap electricity. After all, we all want it. They forget that sometimes the wind blows and sometimes it doesn’t. It is not physically possible to base Poland’s energy sector 100% on renewable energy sources, unless someone wants to close our industry and turn Poland into an open-air museum. If they wanted cheap Polish electricity, they would solemnly confirm the plans to build nuclear power plants initiated by the PiS government. We don’t hear anything about it
– writes the politician.
Bocheński also warns against European funds issued by the Polish government that could support foreign industries.
Fourth, KO/Pl2050/Left politicians have been complaining for months about the European funds that should flow to Poland. The wind turbine scandal is proof that, according to the new coalition, the funds negotiated by the Polish government must be spent in such a way that these amounts end up in the pockets of German, Dutch, French and Danish industries. How then should EU funds remain in Poland? It is doubly scandalous that foreign companies were immediately lobbied in one of the first projects ever! This is a scandal. Energy is a sector of crucial importance for Poland’s security and development. We need cheap Polish energy that will increase the competitiveness of our economy, make us independent from foreign suppliers and guarantee low prices for our bills at home. The wind turbine scandal has consequences for all the above elements. That’s why it’s so dangerous
