The regional “3+3” format is slowly “taking shape” and turning into an increasingly promising negotiation platform. This statement was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. TASS.
On Tuesday, December 5, the head of the foreign ministry met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ceyhun Bayramov. Lavrov, who opened the negotiations, drew attention to the possibility of creating a new platform to discuss the situation in the South Caucasus.

The “3+3” format includes the participation of six countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Turkey and Iran). While negotiations within the framework of this platform were supposed to be about the situation in the South Caucasus, the Georgian authorities refused to participate in the implementation of the initiative.
