The so-called project The Wind Farm Law, instead of protecting Poles, creates a real threat in the form of expropriation – said the head of the Ministry of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak on Monday in Grajewo (Podlaskie Voivodeship). “I appeal to everyone to vote for those who are against the project in the local elections,” he added.

“The choice is simple, easy”
On Monday, Mariusz Błaszczak held a press conference in Grajewo with representatives of local authorities on the draft law of the Civic Coalition and Poland 2050 regarding the so-called Mill Act.
Donald Tusk’s coalition has not yet seized power in Poland and is already proving that it will not be guided by the well-being of its citizens, but by lobbyists and their own wallets; they don’t care about people. That’s why we organized a press conference today among local government officials to protest the wind turbine scandal. In. an act that, instead of protecting Poles and residents of individual municipalities, as a rule creates a real threat in the form of expropriation of real estate in favor of foreign companies, and which poses a threat in the form of placing too close from these windmills to residences, to real estate, to houses
– said Minister Błaszczak.
We want representatives of local governments to clearly and openly express their opposition to this issue by adopting resolutions. I appeal to all voters in the local elections to vote for those who are clearly against this project, for those who want to defend the interests of residents, and not for lobby groups.
– appealed to the head of the Ministry of National Defense.
He said that “the choice is simple and easy.”
In the local elections, let us support those who ensure the safety of the residents of our municipalities, the particular threat of the wind turbine scandal that affects the residents of Polish villages and small towns, especially in these small towns and in the Polish countryside. those who oppose the solutions presented by Donald Tusk’s coalition
– Błaszczak noted.

“We will not lobby for German companies.”
Waldemar Remfeld, starost of Grajewo, emphasized that the district is against the law that will block the development of small towns and villages and will adopt a resolution on the issue.
Let’s defend what is here, in these small towns, when it comes to development. We support what the Polish government adopted in previous legislatures. We will not lobby for German companies
– emphasized the mayor.
Mayor of Stawiska Agnieszka Rutkowska emphasized that distance is important when it comes to solutions for the Wind Farm Act.
We cannot imagine that this distance can be reduced to 300 meters
– said Rutkowska. She also pointed out that a person is only expropriated once and that such an expropriation will no longer generate income for the landowner. Currently, wind companies lease land from them and pay fees for it.
This amendment does not serve anyone who is in favor of green energy
– she emphasized.
“They will become the victims.”
Jedwabne Mayor Adam Niebrzydowski noted that the bill submitted to the Sejm had no public consultations. He emphasized that the project is harmful to farmers and residents of rural areas. It affects producers of milk, poultry, pigs and beef.
They will be the first victims of this law
– said Niebrzydowski.
The parliamentary draft amendments to the Act on Support for Consumers of Electricity, Gas and Heat, submitted by a group of MPs from the Civic Coalition and Poland 2050 – Third Way, extend the freeze on energy prices until June 30, 2024 and also include provisions liberalizing construction of wind farms and wind turbines in Poland.
