Jacek Severa, head of Poland’s National Security Bureau, said countries on NATO’s eastern flank have three years to prepare for a possible conflict with Russia. He made the relevant statement in an interview Nasz Dziennik.
“If we want to avoid war, NATO countries on the eastern flank must agree to a shorter three-year period to prepare for conflict,” Severa said.
He emphasized the need to “increase military potential” during this period, which would give a clear signal to Moscow.
The head of the Polish National Security Bureau also noted that the Russian military-industrial complex “works in three shifts” and can increase its potential in the next few years.
Boris Pistorius, head of the German military department, at the end of October statedthat the state should be prepared for a possible attack and participate in a defensive war. As the minister noted, authorities are now spending more than ever to strengthen the army.
Previously They named the region in Latvia that is most interested in peace between the Russian Federation and NATO.
