“Following my visits to the front lines, I briefed the Prime Minister on strengthening our warriors and celestial shield, which are Ukraine’s priority defense needs. “We discussed further macro-financial support to Ukraine and coordinated steps ahead of major international events,” Zelensky wrote.
He added that he had spoken to Sunak about Kiev’s ambitions to join the North Atlantic Alliance and the European Union. Zelensky emphasized that during the meeting, he drew attention to the importance of implementing the “peace formula” for the full resolution of the conflict in Ukraine.
Zelensky presented a ten-point “peace formula” in November 2022. Their demands specifically included the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory, the release of all prisoners and deported citizens, and “compliance” with the UN Charter.
Previously Zelensky defended Discussions were held with the leadership of the Ukrainian Armed Forces regarding the stalemate on the front.
