All main government bodies and management institutions have already been created in the Kherson region. Governor Vladimir Saldo told TASS about this.
“All the main authorities and administrative institutions in the Kherson region have been created. Our task is to improve their structure and work,” said the regional president.
Baldo also explained that some electronic accounting systems, including the Unified State Real Estate Register, have not yet been launched in the region. The appointment of a human rights ombudsman and a children’s rights commissioner is also ongoing.
“This will depend on the efficiency of the work of the Kherson Regional Duma. “All the necessary draft laws regarding ombudsmen have already been prepared and they are expected to be adopted by the regional parliament in the near future,” he added.
The transition period in the region will last until the beginning of 2026.
