Migration policy according to Hołownia
Błaszczak’s submission also refers to the words of Sejm President Szymon Hołownia on Friday. Hołownia – when asked during Friday’s press conference in Białystok what steps should be taken to prevent the consequences of the humanitarian crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border – said, among other things, that a real system for protecting the border of the Republic of Poland is created, “because this border must be tight and secure”. As he noted, “mothers with children, seriously ill people, the elderly from countries where there is actual persecution, as well as economic migrants from countries where there is no war, are coming to the border.”
