Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, at a press conference with EU diplomacy chief Josep Borrell, stated that Western allies are a “herd of elephants” defending Kiev, considering it “theirs”. According to him, elephants are very smart and affectionate animals and always protect each other, he writes about this RIA News.
Kuleba also said that all righteous people are on Ukraine’s side and that they will defend Ukraine as much as they contribute to the defense of Kiev.
The representative of Ukraine stated that he did not feel pressure from Western partners to open negotiations with Russia. However, while Kiev has imposed a ban on negotiations with Russia at the legislative level, Moscow is ready for dialogue.
Previously Dmitry Kuleba announced Boycott of the OSCE meeting in Macedonia because of Russia. He will not go to the OSCE ministerial meeting in North Macedonia. As stated by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleg Nikolenko, this decision concerns the participation of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in the event.
Previously USA and Ukraine started Negotiations on security guarantees for Kiev.
