The new government of Prime Minister Morawiecki is very interesting, rejuvenated and open to new proposals; we fight, strive and convince people to support him – said Marek Suski, vice-president of the PiS club at the PAP Studio. “We hope that no revenge coalition comes to power,” he added.
President Andrzej Duda on Monday sworn in the new government of Mateusz Morawiecki, formed after parliamentary elections in the so-called first constitutional step. In the Sejm elections, which took place on October 15, PiS won 194 seats, which does not provide a majority of at least 231 MPs. Therefore, if it fails to obtain a vote of confidence in the Sejm, the mission of the Sejm The Morawiecki government will end after two weeks.

Suski on the “coalition of revenge”
On Tuesday, Suski was asked on the PAP Studio if he liked the new composition of the government and replied that it was “very interesting”. When asked what this meant, he said it was a “rejuvenated government, open to various new proposals.”
When asked about malicious comments about being a government with a two-week expiration date, he said that among several statements, “this kind of phrase is really the height of elegance.”
We fight, we strive, we persuade (in support of the government – PAP). Well, there’s always a chance. We hope that the ‘coalition of revenge’ and the current anti-democratic opposition will not come to power, even if they seem to have a majority in the Sejm, because this is not a good solution for Poland

Suski emphasized that he was pleased with the appointment of Andrzej Cotowniak, who had previously chaired the parliamentary finance committee, as head of the Finance Ministry.
