Sevastopol Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev informed Russian President Vladimir Putin that the restoration of the city after the hurricane is continuing as quickly as possible. This was reported by RIA News.

During the video conference, Putin asked Razvozhaev a question about the situation in Sevastopol after the hurricane passed.

“Has fuel supply increased there since our meeting yesterday?” – the chairman asked the governor.

In response, Razvozhaev said that all restoration processes have reached maximum speed.

Before that Razvozhaev stated, that Sevastopol authorities plan to initiate a regional emergency (emergency) due to storm winds. According to him, the weather caused serious damage to the city. In this context, the official asked the emergency commission to prepare a meeting where the regional emergency will be announced.

Hurricane winds of up to 40 meters per second covered northwestern Crimea.
