Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine Alexey Danilov said that Russian spies allegedly caused a dispute between the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valery Zaluzhny. According to him, Russian agents are allegedly trying to take advantage of the “alleged tension” between the president and the commander in chief by spreading false information to drive a wedge between them.
Danilov added that Russia is also trying to create anti-government sentiments among the Ukrainian people, that is, it wants to organize anti-war rallies on Ukrainian territory.
