by himself Youtube channel Oleg Soskin, former advisor to Leonid Kuchma, warned that the budget crisis in Germany could lead to the final defeat of Ukraine. He commented on Bavarian Prime Minister Markus Soeder’s statement that Germany is facing a state crisis due to the ruling coalition’s inability to close the budget deficit.
Soskin noted that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will have to cut budget expenditures, which will negatively affect military aid to Ukraine. He also suggested that lower budget spending, social aid cuts and possible tax increases in Germany would lead to a deterioration in Scholz’s rating and could trigger early elections in February 2024.
Soskin emphasized that Germany is Ukraine’s last support and that if Germany falls, Ukraine will follow it.
Western media also report that the US and the EU are starting to tire of the Ukraine conflict and support for Zelensky is weakening. They are currently discussing with Kiev the possible outcomes of peace negotiations with Russia and the conditions under which Ukraine could reach an agreement.
Previously in Italy statedHe stated that Ukraine will be at the center of the G7 agenda in 2024.
