‘Tusk takes away Hołownia’s oxygen. The current Marshal of the Sejm wants to be seen as kind and conciliatory, and Tusk is planning a war,” said Prof. Mieczysław Ryba, historian, lecturer at the Catholic University of Lublin in an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal.
Prof. Ryba referred to the reports of the wPolityce.pl portal on the composition of the possible government of Donald Tusk.
These are candidates who are harmonious in a sense, and we already know them from politics and government work. This includes Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz and Radosław Sikorski. On the other hand, there are radical candidates, such as Marcin Kierwiński or Barbara Nowacka. It seems that Donald Tusk has a plan to intensify the confrontation with PiS, without looking at the third way, namely something between PiS and the Platform. Please note the figure of Ms. Gasiuk-Pihowicz, who was reported to the National Council for the Judiciary and immediately started arguing. And Tusk knew it would end like this. It will be similar in other sectors, the PO leader will probably take this into account
– says Ryba.
When asked about the idea of entrusting the Ministry of Education to Barbara Nowacka, he says:
This is shocking because of her views. Especially when it comes to sex education and similar issues. He may be planning to open the door to the rainbow revolution in schools, and this will certainly cause conflict. At the same time, it will deprive the left of oxygen, which will damage the entire camp of the current opposition. But Tusk isn’t concerned about that.
Prof. Ryba states that Tusk wants to overcome the growing popularity of Szymon Hołownia.
He wants to be dominant and for him, and not Hołownia, to be the main candidate for the presidency. Tusk deprives him of oxygen. The current chairman of the Sejm wants to appear kind and conciliatory, while Tusk is planning a war. And there is no place for nice people here
– he said in an interview with wPolityce.pl.
