Kremlin commented on Biden not attending the G20 online summit

US President Joe Biden’s absence did not affect the Group of Twenty (G20) online summit. This was stated by the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov during a briefing.

Peskov said “No” when asked by journalists whether Biden’s absence affected the summit.

The G20 virtual summit took place on November 24. The meeting was chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who chaired the club this year. Online summit beyond Biden I missed and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Making his final speech, Narendra Modi noted that the G20 reached a consensus on the solution of the Palestine-Israel problem on the basis of the creation of two separate states.
