At G20, Putin called for attention to tragedies outside Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin told the G20 online summit that he understood the shock of the deaths in Ukraine but called for attention to tragedies in other countries of the world. This was reported by TASS.

“I understand that this war cannot but shock. Isn’t it shocking that the bloody coup in Ukraine in 2014 and the subsequent war waged by the Kiev regime against its people in Donbass?” – says the message.

He also noted the tragedies currently taking place in the Gaza Strip.

“Isn’t the destruction of civilian populations in Palestine and the Gaza Strip shocking today? And the fact that doctors (on the territory of the region – socialbites.ca) have to perform abdominal surgeries on children, operate on a child’s body with a scalpel without anesthesia – isn’t this shocking? – Putin said.

Also in Putin’s speech statedThat Russia has never rejected peace talks with Ukraine.

“Of course we have to think about how to stop this tragedy,” he said.

Before that Putin statedHe said the evacuation of Russian citizens from the Gaza Strip was a noble duty and a sacred duty.

He also participated in the extraordinary BRICS summit (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) supported UN Security Council resolution calling for humanitarian pauses in the conflict zone in the Middle East.
