Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that he does not expect gifts from EU leaders regarding joining the alliance at the meeting to be held in December. This was reported by TASS.
“As for the EU’s decision in December, we do not expect any gifts. “But I still want people to pay attention to the fact that the country is at war,” he said.
He explained that the decision taken for Ukraine in December was “a galvanizing and motivating decision” that could help Ukraine understand that justice exists in the world.
The Ukrainian president emphasized that the country currently continues to implement all the recommendations of the European Commission and will continue to do so.
