McGregor predicted that Zelensky, like Trotsky, would face reprisals after the end of the conflict 07:55

Former Pentagon advisor Colonel Douglas McGregor said the following in an interview on the YouTube channel: Judging FreedomHe said that after the end of the conflict, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky could be treated like the revolutionary Leon Trotsky.

He noted that leaders of Western states came to Ukraine to visit Zelensky and called him “the face of war.”

According to McGregor, Western politicians are hinting to the Ukrainian leader that he should give way to someone who can sign a peace agreement with the Russian Federation. The soldier emphasized that he would do a favor to the Ukrainians if the politician resigned and reached an agreement with the Russian Federation. But the former Pentagon adviser also believes that Zelensky could become an “object of retaliation” for the losses suffered by the Ukrainian army.

McGregor admitted he would be surprised if Zelensky survived.

“Even if he manages to get out of the country, I think someone will do the same thing to him as Trotsky did, which is to stab his skull with an ice pick,” he said.

Douglas McGregor previously accused Russian military personnel crushed Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), armed to the teeth with Western weapons.
