Today I visited a friend (named Bronek) at my university. Sometimes I drop by for a short chat. Today this conversation was exceptionally short, because after a few minutes he found out that my visit was risky, my friend’s boss (let’s call him the director) did not like me, the boss was not there, but his deputy reported to the boss and even measured the time of my visit to Bronek. I quickly got up and left. Yes, I admit I was extremely shocked. If the director had any grudge against me, it was from many years ago, and I don’t remember what it was about.
However, after thinking about it, I slowly came to the conclusion that it was not the director’s reluctance, but that the whole thing stemmed from Bronek’s fear, who probably concluded that in the current situation it was risky to receive me. , a member of PiS, a supporter of the center right and Jarosław Kaczyński. Scientific circles, in which the left-liberal option undoubtedly prevails, are far from tolerant and far from separating political views from scientific life and private affairs. At many universities it takes courage to express your opinion openly.
Ladies and gentlemen! In the near future we will face an intensified political struggle for an independent, free and secure Poland against German neo-colonial tendencies. Nowadays it is no longer an easy battle. The enemy uses all possible means; absurd lawsuits are perhaps the best example of this. However, we must not forget that many of us will be mistreated, despised and ridiculed in our workplaces, offices, schools and various institutions. We will be called “kaczista”, pisio, mohair, ignorant, concrete, Catholic, etc. We will be disrespected, passed over for promotions, deprived of bonuses and awards. Many of us will also face a social boycott, which will not be easy to accept or pleasant because humans are naturally social beings.
However, we must grit our teeth and say to ourselves: “This is for Poland.” And do our part for the greater glory of God, for the good of our homeland and our neighbors. And where we can also fight for freedom, independence and human rights. We patriots….
