US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said that what is important in the conflicts in Ukraine is not what weapons are supplied to Kiev, but how they are used and integrated into the armed forces. This is how German Defense Minister responded to a request to comment on the words of Boris Pistorius that Taurus will not change the course of the conflict in Ukraine, Europe Pravda reports.
“We have said many times that there is no magic ball in a conflict like this.” It all comes down to delivering the right capabilities and how those capabilities are integrated…” said Austin.
According to him, this applies to all types of weapons that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have already received or may receive, from HIMARS MLRS to F-16 fighter jets.
6 November, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius statedThere is no point in providing Ukrainian troops with long-range Taurus missiles. According to him, the transfer of these shells to Kiev will not help change the situation on the battlefield.
Previously The Pentagon evaluated the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to conduct combat operations in winter.
